The 2nd Meeting of the Federation of Asian Organizations for Radiation Oncology 2017 has been held.
Date: November 9-10, 2017
Venue: Bangalore, India
We would like to officially announce that FARO will organize the 2nd Meeting of the Federation of Asian Organizations for Radiation Oncology in Bengaluru, India on 9-10 November 2017. The Meeting will be held as a track in the 2nd Indian Cancer Congress which will be held on 8-12 November.
During the two days, there will be a FARO-ICC symposium, 4 educational lectures, and general oral/poster presentations. We hope that this meeting will be a great opportunity for scientific exchange among the FARO Member Organizations and welcome submission of as many abstracts as possible from FARO Members.

- 1 July 2017 to 30 Sept 2017 - INR 7,000
- 1 Oct 2017 onwards - INR 10,000
Call for Abstracts:
Deadline - 30 June 2017 Extended to 31 July 2017
- Abstracts for oral/poster presentations are welcomed.

The following 4 topics are selected for oral
presentation (20 abstracts in total):
- Head & neck cancers
- Breast cancer
- Cervical cancer
- Advanced technology
- Abstracts for other topics can be submitted for poster presentations.
- The 4 best abstracts from FARO will be presented in the morning ICC sessions.

Travel Grant:
Travel grant will be given to participants based on evaluation of submitted abstracts.
- Please submit the abstract by selecting “Yes” on the Award Paper box and “FARO” for “Association” box during the abstract submission.
- The details of travel grants, including the total number/amount of grants given, will be provided in the future.

- To enter India for this Meeting, you need “Conference Visa.”
- Please see the visa guideline and make necessary preparation at your own responsibility.
- Participants from China and Pakistan require specific approval. Please register for the Meeting at least 90 days before, and follow the instruction on the website.
